Human Resources Business Partner – Middle East, India, Asia & China


Role:  Human Resources Business Partner – Middle East, India, Asia & China (MEIAC)

Location: Home-based in Dubai, with travel across UAE, Saudi Arabia, India, Malaysia, Singapore and China

Reports to: Group Human Resources Director with a dotted line to: Divisional General Manager – MEIAC

Kee Safety is the global leader in safety components and solutions, operating under the mission: “Separating People from Hazards.” Following a recent review of the Group’s HR function, we are seeking a talented and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to support our expanding MEIAC Division.

This is a pivotal role partnering closely with senior leaders to deliver people solutions that underpin business growth and operational excellence across multiple countries.

Role Purpose

To provide a proactive, high-quality Human Resources service to the commercial businesses within the MEIAC Division. The role will focus on recruitment, performance management, employee relations, absence management, talent and succession planning, and acquisition integration.

Key Responsibilities

HR Leadership & Compliance

  • Ensure all HR policies and procedures comply with local employment legislation across the MEIAC region, updating and communicating changes proactively.
  • Act as a champion of HR best practice and a trusted advisor to General Managers and leadership teams.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Coordinate divisional recruitment requirements in line with business plans, delivering an efficient and effective end-to-end recruitment process.
  • Lead the divisional induction and onboarding programme to ensure a positive and consistent new hire experience.

Employee Relations & HR Operations

  • Manage employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, and capability processes, providing coaching to business unit managers.
  • Complete all HR administration related to new starters, leavers, transfers, and contractual changes.
  • Support the integration and harmonisation of HR processes following acquisitions or organisational changes.

Performance, Talent & Development

  • Oversee the divisional performance management cycle, ensuring consistency and supporting managers with training and guidance.
  • Drive talent management activities, succession planning, and development initiatives across the division.
  • Support the delivery of in-person training, workshops, and leadership sessions (where applicable).

Data, Reporting & Projects

  • Produce HR metrics, dashboards, and reports including headcount, absence, organisational charts, and performance data.
  • Present HR KPIs at quarterly divisional meetings.
  • Partner with internal or external payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Contribute to wider Group HR initiatives and participate in Group HR meetings.
  • Lead or support project-based HR activities as required.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; postgraduate HR qualification or Master’s degree preferred.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
  • Strong IT capability, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Minimum of five years’ HR generalist experience, preferably within a commercial, sales, or service-oriented environment.
  • Experience supporting multi-site and/or multi-country operations.
  • Solid employee relations experience, including handling grievances, disciplinary procedures, and terminations; exposure to legal or labour authority proceedings is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with collective labour agreements.
  • Experience in harmonising terms and conditions following acquisitions or organisational change.
  • Working knowledge of workplace Health & Safety regulations.
  • Awareness of wellbeing and mental health initiatives.
  • Experience delivering classroom or interactive training sessions is desirable.

  • Proactive, service-oriented, and business-focused HR professional.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in presenting and coaching managers.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement.
  • Trustworthy, credible, and able to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Holds, or is eligible for, a UAE driving licence.

·        Willing and able to travel regularly across the MEIAC region.
